A lockable room is available for a meeting with 2 people, a meeting with 5 people, a seminar or workshop up to a maximum of 10 people. It offers comfortable chairs and tables, modern presentation technology such as a 65'' TV set Ultra HD 4K, ClickShare wireless system, whiteboard, flip chart and storage space.
The room can be rented by the hour or by the day with a flat rate that includes the use of the presentation equipment and mineral water.

People with physical mobility impairments already have a hard enough time in everyday life. Now the Association for Barrier-Free Switzerland has re-launched the OK:GO initiative for accessibility in tourism. From now on, guests can check on an app whether the destination can be reached without obstacles. The app with accessibility information is not only aimed at people with disabilities, but in particular also at senior citizens who have individual needs and want to be self-determined when travelling. The app is also of interest to families with small children. As a partner of OK:GO, I thus fulfil the proof of sustainable tourism with Swisstainable Level II (sustainability programme of Switzerland Tourism).
Unfortunately, my Boutique Villa is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs, and is only limited recommended for people who have difficulty climbing stairs.

O-iO is a vintage car party in Sarnen. At the O-iO you can see everything that once rolled along our roads: cars, trucks, buses, postbuses, tractors, motorbikes, scooters, mopeds, bicycles (penny-farthings). Many participants and spectators dressed to match the vintage cars. Two of the vintage cars were of the same year as my villa: 1928.
Thanks to my parking spaces in the garage, the valuable vehicles were well protected during the night.

Press release by Holiday Check from 11 January 2022: "For the 17th time, the HolidayCheck Award will be given to hotels that are particularly popular with holidaymakers. Due to the ongoing exceptional situation, it is also the second anniversary of the "HolidayCheck Special Awards". This means that in 2022 the award criteria will remain adjusted to the special situation in which the travel industry has found itself since the beginning of the pandemic. The number of reviews required for a nomination is 25. The period of one year (December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2021) in which the reviews must be submitted and published remains the same. Nothing will change in the average recommendation rate of at least 90 percent, which the hotel ratings must achieve. Of course, the hotels must also comply with the so-called Code of Conduct for the HolidayCheck Special Award. Important: Solely the ratings of the holidaymakers decide about the award. HolidayCheck has no influence on the allocation. To ensure the authenticity of the reviews, they all go through the review system. In addition, HolidayCheck is intensively committed to ensuring that online reviews are authentic and trustworthy with the “Together against fake reviews” initiative. Just like last year, there will still be no HolidayCheck Gold Award in 2022. The reason: many destinations and hotels were only able to receive few or no guests at all due to changed entry regulations and temporary lockdowns. According to the BAG (Federal Office of Public Health), from September 13, 2021 until January 24, 2022 for the time being, the certificate requirement will now also apply in the interiors of (hotel) bars and restaurants. There is no certificate requirement for hotel overnight stays. The certificate only needs to be checked for access to the hotel restaurant. Catering for people who do not have a valid certificate is only possible via room service. Certificates are still not required on terraces and other outdoor areas.
Please understand that the breakfast and self-service area at the coffee machine are only accessible with a valid certificate. The validity of the certificate is checked daily before breakfast.

Steve and Andrea discovered the topography of Obwalden for the sporting challenges in triathlon. They loved the opportunities for cycling, swimming and running. Daniel Moos presents the 1st prize winner concert in Sarnen - the rarity of exclusively young first prize winners! - The variable ensemble "theXcellos" won 1st prize in the Swiss youth music competition in 2018 & 2019! Milo Hauri-Ferrazini, cello even won first prize twice as a soloist. A young star on the violin is Veronika Miecznikowski, also a multiple 1st prize winner. The youngest soloist Elena von Bergen from Sarnen was born in 2003 and won the Rotary Music Prize in 2019. An unusual and varied program is filled with classical highlights: "Bolero" by Ravel, the Adagio from moonlight sonatas by Beethoven, Hungarian dances by Brahms, the well-known "Czardas" by Monti for Beethoven's finale "Joy of Beautiful God Sparks" from the 9th Symphony , and maybe the musical journey with "Pirates of the Caribbean" even ends in "Conquest of Paradise" by Vangelis. There has never been so much award-winning young talent on the stage in Sarnen!
Offer: To enjoy this concert to the fullest, a long weekend is recommended: 2 nights with late riser breakfast until 11:00 a.m., transfer by boat, bus or train to Sarnen, return by private shuttle, visit to the concert (tickets subject to availability), a cozy chat on Lake Sarnen on Saturday or a sporty hike / mountain bike tour in the Sachsler Mountains.
